LOVED this hotel. The only reason I gave the room a 4 instead of a five is because their was only one old outlet by the bed and it worked intermittently and the glass divider in the walk in shower wasn’t quite big enough so water soaked the floor of the bathroom after taking a shower. It’s small but that’s NYC and we knew it going in. It was clean, comfortable, quaint and nicely decorated. Great use of space. Gorgeous tile in the bathroom. Beautiful brick in the main areas. Unique front door. It’s a great little boutique hotel in a fantastic location! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The team was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The room wasn’t ready but that was expected since we were about two hours early. They made great recommendations for brunch while we waited and once we returned we were all set up for our room.

Rooms are small, but you’re in the city and you’ll be out and about most of your time here. Would definitely visit again.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! I booked this trip for my sister and I and from the very start the employees were amazing! Collin was amazing and he became our friend for the stay! The room had a GORGEOUS view and very comfortable bed. Great location, great restaurants right around it, and the rooms are very quiet. I will only stay here when I come to visit from now on!
Great hotel . Clean and quiet . I got the 2 twin bed room because I wanted a little extra space . I can’t really find fault . Check in was a breeze . It would have been nice to have just a little fridge to put cold drinks or a sandwich in , but I get the space for that is limited and maybe you can order one ? My tv didn’t work , but I didn’t need it , so I didn’t asked for it to be fixed
The guys working front desk were super nice and friendly , one even gave me an umbrella that had been sitting around lost and found for awhile !! Than you so much ! You saved the day
I stayed at a Civilian for a mix of business and leisure and had a really great experience! The location was central to where I needed to be, beautiful design throughout. Rooftop bar with great cocktails and the restaurant was also great with basic American fare menu. The room is small which is typical for NYC but VERY well designed and very comfortable. Great shower and the water pressure is perfect!
I had a couple last minute changes and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!
